The heart behind Agape International belongs to Keitra Fonseca Beach, a woman whose life has been shaped by faith, resilience, and deep compassion. A devoted mother, daughter, and friend, she is a woman of God who continually seeks the heart of Christ and lives out her calling through obedience and service. Her journey marked by seasons of change, perseverance, and growth allows her to authentically connect with women, families, and individuals navigating life’s challenges. An active member of her church and a natural servant leader, her life reflects humility, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to loving others well.
With a background in education and studies in the medical field, her calling was further refined through a personal battle with cancer, one she faced with faith and ultimately overcame as a survivor. Long before founding Agape International, God placed within Keitra a deep love for children and those society often overlooks. Inspired by James 1:27, her path led her beyond borders to Uganda, where God placed a profound mission on her heart: to bring hope and the tangible love of Christ to vulnerable children, women, and families in rural communities. From helping children access education and school supplies to supporting clean water initiatives and essential care, this work continues through the collective support of many—but is rooted in one woman’s faithful “yes” to God. Today, Agape International serves both locally in Baton Rouge and globally, carrying forward a mission born from faith, compassion, and obedience.
